It was rather early in the morning when Izzy stood in line to pick up breakfast for her sister and their roommate. Ordering a nice, tasty breakfast with plenty of carbs and protein, she just hoped it would make a decent peace offering after having been gone all night without any warning. She'd texted around one in the morning to tell Tessa she was fine and would be out all night, but she hadn't said why or where or any of that, and she knew Tessa sometimes worried.
Once she had the breakfast in hand, she made her way back home. She crept inside as quietly as she could and locked the door behind her again before going to the kitchen to set out breakfast and get plates. With her headphones in, and still wearing yesterday's clothes, she sat at one of the stools at the counter in the kitchen to drink a cup of chai while she waited for her sister to wake up, scrolling the network as she bobbed her head to the music.
