Sam sighed. He appreciated that Aves was taking the time to listen to his concerns, but it was becoming rapidly apparent that no argument was going to sway her from this. He supposed he understood in a way. That's how he'd felt about Jess once upon a time. He'd been ready to propose at 22. And while Aves was young, he knew she also had a good head on her shoulders and would take care of herself. So he was going to do what his dad had never been able to learn. He was going to be okay with her choices, even if he didn't really agree with them. He leaned back against the couch and glanced at her.
"Well, then like I said. If you're sure this is what you want, then I'm behind you. I just want you to be happy."
