Seven had heard that there was a lot of weirdness going on all over the ship, but she hadn't paid a lot of attention to the comments and explanations going around. She had been spending most of her time lately in Flash's place when she wasn't working or studying. She spent at much time as she could with him, but nothing she said would get him out of his apartment very often. Oh, she still checked in a lot with Six -- their lives had been too full of danger and death for her not to -- but most of the time she was curled up in a chair in Flash's apartment. It hurt, seeing how sad and quiet he had become. She was still a little confused about how he had been separated from his symbiote, but her confusion didn't matter as much to her as the pain and shadows she saw in his eyes whenever they managed to make eye contact with her. She still loved him and he had said he still loved her, but they didn't really talk a lot lately and she felt like she was losing him. She couldn't explain it, really. Only that it sometimes seemed like there was this cavern between them that she didn't know how to breach. He wasn't actively trying to push her away, she was pretty sure. However, every time she came over to spend time with him, she could almost swear that he was surprised to see her. She didn't want to lose him, but she didn't know how to convince him that he was still that amazing guy who had befriended her when she was scared and mourning so much. He was still that wonderful guy who had made her laugh when she thought she would never smile again. He was still that lively, beautiful soul she had fallen in love with. She looked up from the notebook she had been writing in to catch Flash watching her and then she bit back a sigh when he looked away. "Saying I love you, Is not the words, I want to hear from you, It's not that I want you, Not to say but if you only knew, How easy, it would be to show me how you feel..." Seven's eyes widened a little as she had definitely not been planning on singing or even saying anything to Flash about the sadness and worry about them that she was feeling. However, the more she watched him, the more the music kept playing. "More than words, is all you have to do, to make it real, Then you wouldn't have to say, that you love me, Cause I'd already know, Now that I've tried to Talk to you And make you understand All you have to do Is close your eyes And just reach out your hands And touch me Hold me close Don't ever let me go More than words Is all I ever Needed you to show Then you wouldn't Have to say That you love me Cause I'd already know..." |
