Having been so close for the majority of their lives, Tessa understood why Izzy needed to say those words through a clone, rather than directly. She squeezed Izzy's shoulder in encouragement and listened to what she had to say.
She felt a swell of emotion welling up in her throat, but tried to swallow it back down again. "I understand." She didn't think she'd ever be able to comprehend just what Isabella had gone through while she'd been missing. But she knew her sister enough to know how she had to deal with things. They were very different women who dealt with things in different ways. She gently reminded herself that her way wasn't Izzy's way. "I'll support you however you need me too, honey.
