A few more tears rolled down Izzy's cheeks and she held her breath for a moment, not quite looking at Tessa. Finally, she put a hand to her side and a clone came to life, sitting on the edge of the couch, right behind Izzy, a hand on her back, the other on Tessa's shoulder. Sometimes, when Izzy couldn't manage to say something, she'd manifest a clone to help her. This was one of those times. "If I don't hold myself together," said the clone, "I'm afraid I'll crumble and I won't be able to put myself together again. I know you're here for me, and that you love me, and that you'll always be here for me. I promise that when I can talk about this, you'll be the one I talk to. I love you, Tessa."
