With a little sigh, Barb relaxed again and sat back in the booth. There was certainly a lot to get used to. The technology, the people, having a princess for a friend. The number of strange things that she was bound to come into contact with. Part of her wondered if it would be too much to deal with. Maybe she could compartmentalize it, or pretend it was some kind of futuristic festival, or something. Whatever the case, she didn't want to deal with it quite yet. She was having fun getting to know the princess, and knowing that she already had a friend made her feel a little more at home.
"I hate to cut the night short, but it's kind of been a long day, and I still don't know where I'm staying or anything."
It was going to be very weird to be spending a night alone. Normally, she had her parents, or a friend in the place with her, either in the same room or down the hall. Here, though, she was alone, even if she had somehow managed to make a friend already.
