When he walked in and immediately hugged her, she put a hand on his arm, sighing into the embrace. As nervous as she'd been, just being near him immediately calmed her down. She watched him settle in, still trapping her lip between her teeth, but not enough to be overly dramatic or anything. When he spoke up, she finally released her lip, her expression softening.
"You have?" She sighed again and closed her eyes briefly, covering her face. "I really thought we'd already said it." Moving her hands back to her lap, she looked up at him. Her eyes weren't shadowed for once, the lighting in her apartment dim enough that she could tolerate it better, but still plenty bright enough for the average person so see perfectly well. Of course, it helped that she hadn't trained or played too hard in a few days having spent most of her time working or hanging out with people. "Otherwise, I'd have waited for you to come over to tell you I love you."
