If he was being honest, saying those three words over text took a lot of pressure off of him. Now he wouldn't have to feel nervous about saying them because they were already said. He'd felt that way for a while but he just didn't know how to say the words. He was actually glad she did first because that made it much easier for him to finally get them out.
He went in and said an extra goodnight to Nevaeh, promising he'd see her in the morning then he headed out. He only tossed on a t-shirt over his lounge pants before heading to the stairwell because that is what he'd been in when he and Aves had their exchange. A few stairs later, he had arrived at the floor this girlfriend lived in and walked in, as per their agreement. No more knocking.
"Hey" He replied as he shut the door behind him. Walking over to the couch, he stood behind it and gave her a hug over it. Kissing the top of her head as he pulled away, he walked around the couch to sit down. "I've been wanting to say those words for a long time" He admitted as he got comfortable.
