multiple threads welcome in here Who: Aves & OPEN TO EVERYONE :) When: 9/26 Noon Where: The Park What: Shadow Show Rating: Low Status:OTA/Progressing
The show was supposed to be at noon, so Aves got there a little early and looked sound, finding a tree to sit under. She may have planned a time and place, but she'd left the show itself unplanned. The way she saw it, improv was more fun, and it would give her a chance to take requests from whoever came. Once noon rolled around and a group had shown up, Aves nodded to herself and stood up, stepping to the edge of the shadow cast by the tree. She didn't have to move her hands or even look at what she was doing anymore, which would only ake things more fun since the crowd wouldn't have any clues from her about what they were about to see. Still, it would be pretty obvious who was controlling them, since her eyes were blacked out by shadows already, and the shadow cast by the tree was a bit deeper than the rest of the shadows around. She couldn't help that much. Photo sensitivity was a bothersome side-effect of playing with shadows.
The first thing anyone would notice was a sort of dark mist beginning to rise from the grass as Aves borrowed the shadows of the blades of grass and grew them into bigger, more useful shadows. Then the mist gathered up and formed into a troop of acrobats who danced, jumped, flipped, twirled, and otherwise did some very impressive things the likes of which were fit for a competitive show. Then, tossing one acrobat high in the air, the others fell back into the grass and vanished, leaving the airial figure to dive into the grass. A sort of splash happened, and a hoard of bunny figurines were what splashed up, spreading out and interacting with the crowd, asking for pets, nuzzling against legs with their noses.
Leaving the bunnies in the crowd, Aves pulled at the shadows from under feel and bushes, and anything else she could find. Those shadows rushed along the ground to the center of the area that had been left clear for the show. Up rose a figure, impossibly large, pulling itself out of the ground, until it revealed itself to be a dragon (left intangible for safety reasons). Flapping, it easily lifted into the air, circling the crowd, wings dipping low enough to graze the ground, though the grass was never disturbed despite how dark the shadow may have been. With a silent roar, it unleashed a breath of shadows to rain down cool dimness over the crowd, relieving the feel of the bright sunlight.
Then it burst into a flock of birds that flew in oddly musical patterns before all taking a swan dive tward the ground, stopping just short and gathering into mass like a puddle. Finally, Aves stepped away from the tree, the shadow still enveloping her. "Hey, everyone," she said. "Thanks for coming. I'm Aves, and if you have a request, just shout it out, I'll make it happen if I can."

ooc note - Please feel free to tag in and have some scenes in here. I invite everyone to have fun with it, and feel free to say the shadows are doing pretty much anything (as long as it's safe for the bystanders) because after a little bit, she'd take requests. Figurines are solid shadows and look like opaque black voids in the air in whatever shape, and can move fluidly, just, in case I didn't explain that very well in the narrative.
