Liz gave him a 'you got me' look and shook her head to say that she didn't know what was going on. Though she was confused why an older version of their son was on their bed right now, she didn't seem phased by it. The weird and unusual had been a reoccurring thing in her life since Max healed her, this was just another thing to add to that list of strange things that have happened.
"I'm hungry" Kelly blurred out when his dad asked him how it was going. Sitting up, Liz glanced over at the bedside clock. Given the time, no wonder the little boy was hungry.
"How about you get Isabella up then we'll all go get something to eat?" She suggested, smiling when the little boy moved to get off the bed. It then hit her that Isabella wouldn't be the age he was used to. "Hold on. Come back" She told him gently. When he made his way back over to her, she did her best to explain things in a way that he would understand.
A few minutes later, the little boy was off again and Liz turned to her husband with bewilderment on her face. "Our son is here. Finally. I don't know how or why but I'm so thankful"
