The man had a way of giving his full attention. Of course, I'm not quite sure how they'll translate, but it's worth a shot." She reached out and grabbed a bread stick. "Mutants are born mutants, but we don't manifest until puberty, usually. Some manifest earlier or later," she shrugged. "It can be scary for some, depending on their abilities and the reactions they get. I'm convinced that it's that first manifestation that shaped how a mutant feels about what they can do."
