She didn’t realize how much she missed him until she met his gaze. The look in his eyes had her realizing that she missed him more than she thought possible. She never allowed herself to feel loved and wanted, but James was someone that understood her and the fact he loved her spoke so much that she could not put it into words.
“Well… my old friends aren’t like the ones I have here. Auradon is different too. Everyone is meaner. Mail still considers me an enemy and so do her friends. I got blamed for a lot and to make things worse, Mal’e dad Hades made life painful. I was forced to work in his dungeons. Made snide remarks about how I am an ungrateful spoiled brat. It wasn’t just him either. It was everyone.” She admitted to him. She didn’t want to destroy a happy reunion, but she never kept things from him. It was her honesty that allowed her to fall so in love with him.
She looked down a moment and then looked back up into his eyes. “And you know I’m with you as well James. Even if you couldn’t remember who I am.” She was glad she remembered him and that was more than enough for her. “I will love you until it’s my time to go. Always James. My heart and soul belong to you. There is no one more perfect for me than you. I love you so much.” She sealed those words with a loving kiss.
