She knew he would catch her and make sure his balance was righted when she jumped into his arms. The embrace they shared was a loving one, feeling all the sadness and heartache erase out of her system as she basked in the fact he was holding her. She didn't think that she would feel this much peace again and here she was back in the place that she felt like she could be normal. Letting go was not an option. If she did, she was worried that he would disappear from her. Was this a dream? If it was, she didn't want to wake up from it. It had to be real, they were really here.
"I have missed you so much." She whispered back, shivering slightly when he whispered in her ear. The fact she missed him this much was evident in her body language, and the hope of returning was always there. She was glad that she finally made it back to him.
The embrace lessened, causing Audrey to lift her head and gaze into his eyes. Before she responded, she leaned in, kissing him deeply. He had to know that kiss meant everything, especially her love for him. "Yes, I'm okay. I wasn't hurt... Too much." She said softly, hating to admit people bullied her and how she went dark again. Which was why she loved it here so much. She could be herself and had people who cared.
