"You're out of line for looking at me like I'm a broken china doll," Laura replied sharply. She hated the pitying look that Donna had whenever they saw each other now. Still... maybe that peak behind the curtain was enough for Donna to stay on the straight and narrow. Maybe that would make the look more tolerable.
