Not a bad night. I managed to deal with my thoughts without having to get sloshed, and made a new friend at the same time. I think sometimes it helps just to know someone understands what you're going through.

You know what? I think I already have. I've just been too lost in my own crap to realize it.

Arizona loved me. And she sure as hell wouldn't want me to sit here destroying myself over her.

Tifa... would you go on an official date with me? Like, not worrying about comforting me, or worrying about me... just a fun, romantic date?

I didn't know her, but I'd like to think that if she really loved you, she would want you to eventually move on. Like it sucks that Cloud isn't here, but it's not like he was about to return my feelings any time soon if he was.

There was something about you ever since the first time that we met, and it wasn't just my need to take care of the depressed drunk girl. Because at the same time? I wanted to take care of you, Ellis. I wanted to hold you in my arms and kiss your tears away, and do my best to assure you that everything was going to be okay.

And yes, I would love to go on an official date with you, Ellis.
