Cassie was really glad that she and Faye had worked on their friendship and become so close. It had gotten to the point that Cassie spent more time talking with Faye or just hanging out with her than she had ever done with anyone else in her life. There was a bond there that had nothing to do with them being in the same Circle. It was actual friendship and trust and Cassie treasured it.
Which was why she had jumped at the chance to go clubbing with Faye. It wasn't something that she had done before and what better time to go than when she was hanging out with Faye.
A few guys offered to buy her drinks, but she politely turned them down. Faye didn't seem to be drinking, so she wasn't going to, either.
Which was probably a good thing since even though she was having a really damn good time, there was one guy who would just not leave her alone. No matter where she went or who she was dancing with, he ended up being there and trying to dance on her instead of with her.
Finally, both fed up and uncomfortable, she casually dannced over to Faye.
"Help me!" She begged as they danced. "If that guy comes near me and grabs me again, I might lose it and fireball him. He won't take no for an answer."
