"I was only twelve at the time," she giggled. That seemed like so long ago to her now. That whole day was a blur to her. She wouldn't forget it, though. She always felt like he was still somewhere, but no one believed her.
She shook her head with a sigh, "I got your stuff, but Scott got the car... until he didn't want it anymore. So I got when I turned sixteen, anyway." She shrugged, then quickly looked up, "oh! None of us were hurt, by the way. Quicksilver just happened to stop by as the explosion began. He said that he got everyone out that he found. He didn't see any sign of you. It was like you just... vanished." Her voice cracked a bit at the end. She was more than grateful to have him here, but she couldn't help but wonder what happened to him back home.
