He ran a hand up her leg. "You don't have to..." Then rested his hand on her hip, looking up at her, hoping that she wouldn't move but understanding if she did. "I don't mind you sitting there." He could sort himself out later or whenever if she did decide to stay the night. He would cope. One night or a few hours weren't the worst for him.
"Do you want to keep talking? Or ask me anything?" He wasn't sure if she wanted to talk more or not. "Or we could see if there's a movie on?" He made a face, then laughed. "There's more beer in the fridge but I don't think we should move? Not right now." There would be chances to go fetch it later if they wanted it. But he didn't mind having a mostly clear head then.
"So I'm a little bit out of practice with this part."
