Who: Bea and Emily Where: Bea's bedroom, Royal Palace of Monstropolis When: Tonight What: Bea throws caution to the wind Rating: PG-13 (nudity, slightly sexual situations) Status: Closed, complete
Emily was already starting to feel comfortable in the castle. She knew that she shouldn't. It wasn't as if she knew if Bea would want to be with her for the long term. Yet she was there, standing in the blonde woman's bedroom wearing nothing as she was looking at some pictures that were on the dresser. A smile on her face as she look at the smiling blonde in the pictures. She didn't know why she couldn't control the feeling that came over her when she even looked at a simple picture.
Bea wanted to take her time. Really play the field a bit before settling down with whoever would end up being her next mate. But there was one small kink in those plans. Emily Fitch. The girl who she'd once had a fling with, and now was having another with, had somehow found her way into a place very few people have ever managed: Bea's heart. No matter what she was doing, Bea kept finding her mind flickering back to Emily. The way she looked when she smiled. The way she looked laughing. The way she looked when they were in bed. Bea technically had it bad. A lot worse than she was even admitting to herself.
So when she walked into her bedroom and saw Emily in her bed, and naked, she couldn't help the happy giggle that spilled forth from her red lips.
"It's like you knew exactly what I'd had on my mind all day..."
Emily wondered if it would be a problem that she was still in the bedroom. After all she knew that Bea was playing the field and could walk in with whoever she wanted. Told herself that it wouldn't bother her. It wouldn't with words but she wasn't sure it would be the same if she just happened to see it.
She looked up and over when she heard someone walk in. Smiling when saw Bea there. "Maybe I'm psychic," she said as she leaned froward than crawled to the edge of the bed.
"Perhaps." Bea laughed, growling under her breath when she watched the girl crawl on all fours to her. She grabbed a generous handful of Emily's hair, pulling her head back to place a deep, hungry, wanting kiss on her lips. "Geez. It's like you missed me or something." She teased afterward, slipping her dress and panties off casually before crawling into bed beside her.
Emily made a playful growl as her hair got pulled back. She smiled into the kiss as she pushed her body into the kiss. Very glad that Bea had decided to join her in the land without clothes. She moved over to be on top of the blonde. Straddling her as she looked down at the beautiful body that was under her. "Of course I missed you."
"I feel like I should thank you." Bea said, in a rare moment of real sincerity. "You've held me together almost singlehandedly since everything happened." She said, before, of course, ruining the moment. "I mean I've thanked you with numerous messy orgasms, but I meant with actual words."
"You don't have to thank me, Bea," she said softly as she gently traced her fingers on the blonde's abdomen. "I love you more than I've ever loved anybody. I'll be here for you until that gem pulls the world back." She wasn't holding back right then. Not with Bea who she felt like she could really be herself with. "I'll always be here for you." She felt like that needed repeating.
Bea had only believed two people before when they told her they loved her (at least in that way). Tea and Diego. That was it. Yet... somehow? She believed Emily. This wasn't just lust, or desire, or even a close, sexual friendship like she'd had with Barb. "Can I ask you something? With a promise of 100% honesty?"
Emily wasn't sure why Bea had asked before saying the question. "Yeah, of course you can," she said with a small nod. "What is it?" She was hoping that something wasn't wrong.
"Why?" She asked, looking up at the beauty atop her. "What is it about me you love? I mean, I know I'm hot... but I also know I'm kinda an asshole most of the time."
"I love the way your nose moves when you smile, the way the hair falls in your face when you're sleeping, how your skin feels next to mine," it wasn't just because of how she felt when they were having sex. "How you speak your mind, how you seem to know when there's something wrong with me, how I feel when I'm with you or think about you." It wasn't even everything that she loved about Bea.
Bea could feel the tears welling in her eyes. Had anyone, anyone, ever said anything so beautiful to her? Not that she could think of. "You know... my entire life, nobody's ever said anything quite like that to me." She admitted, placing a palm to Emily's stomach, gently scratching her fingertips along the taut skin.
"Then I'll tell you all the time. You deserve to hear how wonderful you are," because Bea made her feel wonderful all the time. She smiled softly as she felt Bea's hand on her. Leaning forward she kissed the woman on the cheek before moving back up.
"How are you so amazing?" Bea asked her, looking as though this was all so hard to believe. That anyone could see her as this great. "Seriously. It's like you know what I need to hear even before I do."
"I'm just telling you how I feel," it just happened to be what Bea needed to hear. "You can be with whoever makes you happy," tears started to fall from her eyes as she spoke. "All I want is for you to be happy and loved." It didn't even matter if it wasn't with her. "Because I will love you regardless." And she was sure that no matter what she would always love Bea.
In that moment, it finally fully hit Bea. Why Tea got so fucking angry at Emily when she sang to Bea that time. It was because she could see what Emily was telling Bea right now. She could see the pure, unconditional love she felt and was threatened by the intensity of it. ".....do you think you could really handle the insanity that goes on around here?" Bea asked, raising an eyebrow. She was coming to a realization, but knew she needed to check on a few things before admitting it. "The crazy parties... the crazy demons.... my mother..."
Emily leaned back and rested her bare bottom on Bea's lap as she thought about it. She didn't want to rush any answer when it was something that she had to think about. It was another moment before she looked into the blonde's eyes. "I would be able to handle it. I'm a lot tougher than I look," she knew she was more on the small side. That didn't mean she wouldn't be able to handle Bea's life.
"And one last thing. And this is a BIG one." Bea said, a look of steely determination in her eyes. In spite of the intimate position they were in, she was laser focused here. "As you know, I'm a succubus. Monogamy is... almost impossible for me. How would you handle me being with other people? As long as you knew my heart was only with you? And you would have the same freedoms, bee tee dubs."
“If we were together, like you said it and I said it. Together together. I wouldn’t have a problem with it,” she had been nervous about Bea walking in with someone a moment ago. That was only because they weren’t really together. They were just hooking up and she was randomly in Bea’s room. Of course she’d be a little jealous but it wouldn’t really bother her. If anything she’d think it would make their bedroom times hotter.
"Then goddammit..." Bea said, smiling as tears threatened to form in her eyes again, "I'm gonna do what I've done my whole life. Which is set common sense on fire and go with what feels right. And you feel right, Emily Fitch. Everything about being with you feels right. The sex. The conversation. The cuddles. Everything. I love you, Emily. I do. I love you so much. Would you be mine?"
“I was already yours, Bea,” Emily laughed as she moved to kiss the blonde below her. “I was just waiting for you to catch up.” She kissed her as their bodies pressed up against each other.
Bea groaned happily, kissing the girl again as her as she ran her hands along the small of her back. "So you know... you'll be definitely living here at the palace. And will have a bodyguard." Bea told her, just enjoying the touch of her skin. "Down the line... when (not if) you become princess down the line... you'll get an assistant as well."
Emily could feel the happiness swell in her belly. It was like a swirl of butterflies as she knew she was on top of the woman that she would spend the rest of her life with. The gem could go suck it. “Will I be in this room?” She asked as she kissed down Bea jawline towards her ear. “I never imagined myself with a bodyguard.” They were slow, soft kisses. Smiling as she words ‘when she became princess’ hit her ears. She never imagined this happening. One of her hands traced down Bea’s body until they stopped at her hips.
"If you want to be, of course!" This flew in the face of everything Bea had intended on. Yet... somehow that was also classic Bea: impulsive, heartfelt, and surprisingly pure. "I'll give you Laura as your bodyguard. Deadly as hell and fun on the eyes."
"I want to be, I do," she said as started to nibble on Bea's ear. "But if this is going to be our bed. It's going to be our bed. There's plenty of other rooms for any hanky panky outside the two of us." She didn't care with who or how many people Bea slept with but she didn't want them to accidentally roll around on her while she was sleeping. They could even have a room specifically for that.
"Do you think she'd be okay with that? She was Tea's bodyguard." She didn't want to put Laura in an uncomfortable position.
"Laura's already told me that she's open to whatever job we choose to give her." Bea said quickly, just to get that part out of the way. "And as for your other statement.... absolutely. I wouldn't dream of having anyone in the bed I share with the person I love."
It was nice to know that Laura wouldn't have an issue with it. It was important to her that the fact that Tea was there was respected. Emily might have been happy with where she was right at that moment but still.
"I love you, Bea," she said softly as she kissed her cheek again. "I'm going to love the life I'm going to have with you." In their bed, maybe with others in some other beds, just talking and laughing. She brought her lips up to Bea's ear and whispered, "You're beautiful."
"So are you." Bea told her, rolling them over so they were on their sides, facing each other. She lazily traced her fingers along Emily's hip, gazing over the girl's body. "You're only the third person I've ever given my heart to. The first died, the second got taken away. If something happens to you? This fucking world is gonna burn."
"I'm glad you did," Emily couldn't imagine the pain that Bea had gone through to lose the people she loved. She knew that she wasn't in control of the gem but in her mind she wasn't going anywhere. In all the ways she could control she was going to stay right there. "I don't plan on going anywhere. I know it doesn't mean much because we can't control it. Still I want you to know I want to spend the rest of my life with you."
"Will it bother you if I talk about Diego sometimes?" Bea asked, a tiny hint of real fragility to her tone. "Just figured I'd ask now. He was the most amazing man I've ever known and I like remembering him... but he was also one of the only two people Tea really did not wanna hear about."
"You can talk to me about Diego or Tea. You loved them. You were going to marry Diego and you married Tea," they were important people in Bea's life. She wasn't going to say that she couldn't talk about them. "There's literally nothing you can't talk to me about." It wasn't her place to close a type of conversation with the person she loved.
"Except Judy. We don't talk about Judy." Bea said, before they stared at each other in awkward silence for a few seconds. "Sorry, ultra-deep Twin Peaks reference. Anyway, I hope you're ready... essentially, your whole world changes tomorrow."
