Students, Teachers and Staff of JGS
Classes start Monday.
On the 7th, we will be having Labor Day festivities. There will be no classes on that day. Students are expected to attend the festivities, even if you did not attend Second Semester classes. Attendance is required. You will serve as hosts and hostesses at the various events. Every class, except fencing, will showcase their work. Photography students will have work on sale, while the Equestrian team will participate in a competition. Good luck to all JGS students. We are proud of you.
Students
Stop by my office and my secretary, Ginni, will give you your assigned reading materials.
9th Grade - Louisa May Alcott, Little Women
10th Grade - Sylvia Plath, The Bell Jar
11th Grade - Dame Daphne du Maurier, Rebecca
12th Grade - Ralph Waldo Ellison, Invisible Man (Not to be confused with H.G. Wells The Invisible Man.)
If you want to keep your book, you may purchase it. Students are encouraged to read all books on the list.
If you have any questions, feel free to call upon myself or Ginni. Most answers should be found at the web site.
I am taking suggestions for next semester's books. Leave a note here or at my office.
