Hello, Galador!

Who else is super excited for season two of Universal Idol? I can't wait to watch each and every one of you perform this year.

While we're all counting down the days, I've got a surprise music drop! I got struck with inspiration a few weeks ago while I was stuck inside during the heat wave. Huge thanks to Noah Guerin for helping me turn this into something I really love. I hope you all do too. Enjoy!

Do you have any advice for someone wanting to put together an audition video to send in?

Try to be yourself as much as possible. Don't drown your natural talent out by trying to be too flashy or over the top just to stand out. But including a little fun fact or something memorable about you definitely wouldn't hurt!

Oh! And try to find an audition song that they won't have heard twenty times already in a day. Popular songs are fun, but you can get lost in the crowd if you're performing something they've already heard.
