The Taco
Light acoustic music played as Taco walked out into the stage with a microphone in hand. In the past, he'd done more upbeat songs so this week, he wanted to do something different to really show off his voice. As he walked out, he was joined by two masked female dancers that ran out wearing beautiful lyrical dresses. When it came time for him to sing, he stopped when he was on the stage and faced the audience.
Can you feel it? Now it's coming back we can steal it If we bridge this gap I can see you Through the curtains of the waterfall When I lost it Yeah you held my hand But I tossed it Didn't understand You were waiting As I dove into the waterfall
When the chorus hit, he began making use of the entire stage as he interacted with the dancers. He danced a little bit with each girl and ended the section dancing with both.
So say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Can you feel my love? Bombs away Bombs away Bombs away Geronimo
Just as before, he stopped where he was and turned to the audience as he sang another verse.
Well we rushed it Moving away too fast That we crushed it But it's in the past We can make this leap Through the curtains of the waterfall
As he resumed singing the chorus, he picked up the choreography with the dancers right where he had left off with them. Again, he did a little bit with each girl and ended with both of them.
So say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Say Geronimo! Can you feel (my love, my love, my love, my love, my love) my love? Bombs away Bombs away Bombs away
He stopped in his tracks again for the last time, his voice quieter to match the music. This time, the dances moved closer to him and danced around him.
Well I'm just a boy With a broken toy All lost and coy (At the curtains of the waterfall) So it's here I stand As a broken man But I've found my friend At the curtains of the waterfall Now I'm falling down Through the crashing sound And you've come around At the curtains of the waterfall And you rushed to me And it sets us free So I fall to my knees (At the curtains of the waterfall)
As he sang 'fall to my knees' he did exactly that and when the music stopped, he reached his hands out seemingly to nothing. When the music resumed again, he jumped back up and began roaming the front of the stage, touching the hands of the audience as he repeated the phrased "So say Geronimo!" and "Bombs away". He loved making the audience apart of his performance.
Make this leap Make this leap Make this leap Make this leap
Stepping away from the audience, he made his way back to the center of the stage where the dancers were waiting for him and he spun them both around once as the song ended with the three of them side by side.
