Most of this can be OOC. Just let us know that your character stopped by and if you left the girls anything. Lita hasn't left Kelly's side, so she'd be needing food occasionally.

Kelly woke up early in the morning, May 18th. She's gonna be in the hospital for a bit longer. So we can play out any visitations here.

Despite what he wrote online he had to go see Kelly and make sure for himself that she was alright. It took him days before he was able to convince himself to go.

He chose not to comment Lita online because, honestly, he was not too fond of her. She was always rude to him and he did not want to deal with her. He just hoped he could catch a rare moment when maybe Lita would go to the restroom so he could see Kelly alone and just do a quick drop in with his old friend. But he knew he had no luck and she was probably there. He prepared himself.

He knocked on the door after signing in as a visitor and peered in. "Kelly, can I come in?" He asked, knowing and hoping she would recognize his voice.

"No" Says Lita's voice as she lays with Kelly in her bed, snuggled up to the girl as they listened to music oh her phone. Of course, she was right there when the woke up. She hadn't left her side from the moment she was allowed to be with her after she'd be admitted to the hospital.

She slept there, she ate there, she did everything she needed to in that room. Her life revolved around her future wife at the moment and it would until she left the hospital. Well except for a prearranged obligation that she couldn't get out of but she would worry about that later. Right now she was worried about Thomas causing Kelly stress that she didn't need.

And there it was. He did not even call back, he just sighed, shook his head, and took off. He did not want to see that girl right now. He just turned and left, shaking his head.

Kelly playfully nudged her fiancee with a smirk before looking toward the door to see her best friend from home. She turned to look at Lita but spoke loudly enough for Thomas to hear her. "Hey now, babe... it's not his fault he doesn't remember that he was a passive-aggressive asshole about us when he was here before. He doesn't remember what he said or did. He doesn't remember that he made me cry. Not that I ever actually got a chance to tell him," she frowned, turning toward the door again. "We were just starting to make up when he left."

Turning down the music on her phone, which was a band that they both enjoyed, she turned so she could look at her while she talked and she sighed. She knew the girl was right. She needed to stop being so harsh to the guy when this version of him didn't remember how he had been towards them before. Okay, maybe not stop because she didn't forgive that easily but maybe try to be a little nice to him? Yeah, she could do that. "But I remember and I'm never forgiving him" She pointed out, leaning over to kiss her shoulder. "But I'll try and be nicer. Try" She told her, emphasizing the word try as she rested her head on the girl's shoulder. "You may enter, Thomas" She said loud enough so he could hear her in the hallway.

He took a deep breath. He heard that just before he got far enough away from the door. He sighed and turned back around when he heard Lita tell him to enter. Might as well get this over with.

He stood near the door, not wanting to go to close. But after hearing what Kelly said, he decided to ask first, "Hi Lita. How are you feeling, Kelly?" He began by asking her gently.

Kelly sighed softly. "I didn't think I'd ever end up like this. I am usually so careful in the heat. I even traveled north in the summer back home." She smiled at Thomas. She wanted to still be mad at him, but he seemed to honestly not remember his time on Galador before.

"I've got to know... you're older than you were before by at least a couple of years. Whatever happened to me back home? I had just been kidnapped by my ex a few weeks before I came here," she wasn't sure she'd like what he had to say about it, but she had to know.

Thomas frowned. "To be honest I was not sure I would see you alive again, Kelly." He said, concerned. "I do not think anyone expected the heat to happen this fast, like that." He went on, genuinely worried.

He looked at her, and all feelings sort of came back. He had thought he was over her already. But then again maybe he was over her, this could just be normal feelings for someone he thought was a best friend.

He nodded. "Yes, I am a little older." He agreed, softly. "I never did find you back home, Kelly. I'm sorry. I felt so stupid and then I found myself here and I have no idea if anyone found you." He was afraid, that much was evident. "I searched for years and years, and I let my own powers fade, I never practiced because I was so worried about you. And I never found you." He was rambling but he had to let her know. He knew this could affect something, or he thought it could. But she had to know he had screwed up and never found her.

Lita remained quiet as the two of them talked, her head remaining on Kelly's shoulder and her eyes on Thomas. She wanted to let him know that she was watching him and that he better not pull any funny business. Reaching out, she grabbed Kelly's hand and took ahold of it, entertaining their fingers that wore their engagement rings and giving it a supportive squeeze. Two of them were so connected by now that sometimes words weren't needed for one to know what the other was thinking.

"So I'm guessing that no one else found me back home and I'm dead," Kelly mumbled, looking down. She brought her and Lita's hands up, kissing the back of the other girl's with a small smile.

She looked over to Thomas with a nod. "I know that you weren't the only one looking for me. So it wouldn't be just you that failed. But knowing that you were at least looking at least means something. I know that I had been drugged, so I couldn't use my powers to escape. I had to be sent here when I first arrived. You were here before I recovered."

He glanced at Lita and felt bad for her to hear this part. He could tell she loved Kelly as much as he once had. He shrugged. "I don't even know. I wish I knew. I wish I had been able to find you. I am sorry I let you down." He said genuinely.

"I know it wasn't only me but I feel like I should have felt where you were somehow." He said, knowing that was not even possible. He did not have those kinds of powers. "I heard a little of that outside the door before." He blushed. "I know it was not me before but Kelly I would never do anything to hurt you. I have accepted that you do not love me like that. I still love you but I would never hurt you." He said, honestly.

Kelly shook her head, glancing over to Lita before looking over to Thomas again. "You know, if you didn't spend the first year and a half that we knew each other letting me believe that you were gay, things would be a lot different right now." She quickly turned back to Lita, "not that I want that." She was a firm believer that everything happening for a reason, and that everything that she had gone through lead her to Lita and Brandon.

She took a deep breath, "it just sucks, you know. I even concentrated on attempting to sending a message to a telepath shortly before getting re-dosed before I came here."

Mekhi wasn't sure if Kelly was up for visitors but he figured he could sneak something in for them. Even if he couldn't stay long. In a backpack he had some red plastic cups, spoons, and two gallons of ice cream. Flavors that he knew the they would like, superman and strawberry. He walked to the hospital room and tapped on the edge of the open door. "You guys up for visitors?" he said with a smile He would be okay if they weren't but would just drop off his little gift he brought for them.

Kelly had been in and out, but she was always happy to see a familiar face. She had been awake for a bit when she heard Mekhi at the door. She smiled and gave a nod, "come in."

Mekhi had a friendly smile on his face as he walked into the hospital room. He didn't see Brandon around so maybe they just weren't visiting Kelly at the same time. He wasn't there to see his brother after all. "Hey," he said as he made his way over to the bed. "I brought you guys something." He took off the backpack and took out the ice cream.

"Ooh ice cream!" Lita's voice could be heard coming from the bathroom, excitement dropping in it. She was in the bathroom getting ready to leave for an event she had going on that night. As much as she didn't want to leave Kelly, this was something she couldn't get out of it. "What kind did you bring?" She asked, wanting to know what was awaiting her when she got out. It would be a nice treat before she left for a little bit.

Mekhi looked up when he heard Lita's voice from the bathroom. "I have strawberry and superman," he said as he got the cups and spoons out of his bag too. "I figured you guys could have your pick of them." It seemed like it was better than hospital food.

Kelly's eyes lit up brightly when she heard Mekhi mentioning that he had brought them strawberry ice cream and did her best to sit up, doing her best to do 'gimme' hands. This, of course, when she realized that she needed to be careful of at least her IV. She pouted, looking down at where the needle was currently penetrating her skin, "welp, I'll be glad when I don't need the extra fluids anymore."

Mekhi laughed when he looked over to Kelly. "One second let me make you a bowl," he said as he started to put the cups out to make some servings for the girls. "Let me guess... strawberry?" He started to scoop it out before she was even able to answer. "I'm sure you'll be out of the hospital soon." Actually he was only hoping that she was out soon.

This was the future wife of one of Ellis' best friends. Of course she was going to check in on them. She barely knew Kelly, but Lita was absolutely a little sister to Ellis, which made Kelly family in her eyes.

Walking into the room, she couldn't help but smile (in spite of trying to remain in professional mode here) at seeing Lita curled up beside the girl.

"Kelly Jackson? Hi, I'm Dr. Ellis Shepherd. Just stopping in to check on you, make sure your vitals look good..."

Kelly knew exactly who Ellis was. She just hadn't exactly gotten a chance to know her yet. It would happen eventually. This just wasn't how any of them expected it to happen.

She looked up with a smile, tilting her head. "Hey, Ellis. Did you request to take this one?" she couldn't help but giggle softly, despite being awake.

"There's a chance that may have happened..." Ellis teased with a wink, walking over to begin checking the readouts on the equipment still hooked up.

"What can I say? It's a Grey thing. I tend to go hard when it comes to looking out for my family."

Lita sat up from her laying down position against Kelly as Ellis walked into the room and she giggled a little bit as she watched Ellis do her thing. "Dr Ellis in the house. I've never actually seen you at work before. This is totes fascinating" She commented, her eyes following her with an amused smile on her face. "How's my girl doing?"

"Well... while as someone who adores you, I want to say everything's A-OK, but I can't lie to you. She suffered a lot of trauma. Luckily, you all got her here fast enough to prevent much in the way of permanent damage, but she did suffer damage to her kidneys and her right lung."

She stood near the bed, looking at the chart she held in her hands.

"Now the good part is, her heart and liver both avoided damage, and those are the hardest to heal completely. If we were in my world? She'd be looking at a long recovery and the very real possibility of never being 100% again. Thankfully, this place has technology far beyond that, and healers as well. Take it easy for a couple of weeks, then take certain precautions for a few months in addition to the treatments we'll be setting up for you, and there should be no reason for you not to be completely healed in a couple of months."

She looked at Lita and winked affectionately. "You did good, kiddo."

Kelly smiled softly, looking over to Lita adoringly. "This is the actually the first time I got sick since my powers manifested. I forgot what it was like."

After lamenting to her girl, she turned back to Ellis with a frown. "Now this is a ways off, but I have to know. Is this going to affect my ability to conceive in the future?" It was something she hadn't really thought of before, but she did hope to have at least one child of her own someday with Lita and Brandon.

Ellis thought about that for a long moment, before raising an eyebrow. "I would say that given time and patience? You should be able to concieve. Not anytime soon though. Your body's been through a huge trauma. It's gonna be quite a while before it's ready for anything resembling more trauma."

Lita listened closely as Ellis told her all about Kelly's condition and she let out a breath she didn't know she'd been holding in when she was finished. "And if I have it my way, you won't get sick again" She told her with a soft kiss on the lips"

All in all, it didn't sound too bad. It could definitely be worse and thanks to Aunt Liz, it wasn't. She was the reason why Kelly was in the shape she was now and that her organs hadn't all completely shut down. It really helped to have healers in the family that was for sure!

She perked up at the question about being able to conceive and she looked between them with interest as she waited for the answer. When Ellis said yes, Lita lit up like a Christmas tree. "Babe! We are going to make such beautiful babies!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms around the girl to hug her gently.

Pulling away from the hug, she looked to Ellis with a bright smile. "It won't be for a long time. We're not even married yet" She told her, happily holding up their hands to show their unique engagment rings.

Kelly had prepared herself to hear that it might be better if Lita were to have all of their babies, so when Ellis told her that after some time, she should be able to have her own child. That was more than good enough for her. To know that she didn't have any permanent damage done to her body.

She couldn't help but laugh at Lita's giddiness. They did have the best engagement rings ever. There was no denying that. "I know that it will be a while before we even think about either of us having Brandon's babies, but I wanted to make sure that it was still an option for me."
