The heat seemed to keep rising with each passing minute. At least that was how it felt to the heat sensitive mutant, Scotty. He had planned to find somewhere that wasn't having any power issues but his chest was starting to feel tight. He looked around and saw the sign for the club that was advertised to be cooler during this hotter than normal time. He cringed as he thought about going in there with the crowds of people. It didn't seem like there was much of a choice right now.

He walked in and asked for one of the VIP rooms that the princess had mentioned. He didn't have much money but he thought he had enough for a little time in one. As well as a few pitchers of some ice water.

Once in the room he poured one of the pitchers of ice water over his body, all over the floor too. It felt so good against his overheated skin. Although he had been out in the heat longer than he should have been. He started to stumble forward and falling out to where his upper body was visible outside of the VIP room he paid for.
