Fresh from her honeymoon, Lux had worked from home for a few days and decided to go into the office that day to catch up on things and see the kids there. Not wanting to leave Simon at home, she brought the 10 month old to work with her.
She'd set up a playpen in her office for him to play in while she was in there and when she wasn't, he hung around with her near her chest in a carrier. She had a stroller that she kept there too for walks during her break. That day, though, she opted for the carrier when they went out to eat at Axel's food truck. It was part of their daily routine to eat there and easily her favorite part of the day.
While walking back from the train station, towards the Welcome Center, Lux stopped in her tracks when a young girl approached her. Ah a new arrival. This was what she had trained for. "No, I'm afraid you're not. You've been brought here by a magical gem and now you're on another planet. If you just come with me to that building there," She pointed to the Welcome Center. "They'll explain everything to you. I'm Lux, I'm a social worker. I work for them"
