"Don't you find it interesting that they had knowledge of our mythology. I know they existed, most people don't. The world wouldn't be as messed up as it is if it weren't for Ares whispering into the mind of man." Diana shrugged, "they had a plan, carried it out all based on my own past. Although I never met anyone other than Ares. Not even my father Zesus. They are tales to me, much like they must be to you," Diana took the last bit of her coffee. She wasn't ready for this meeting to be over so she held up her coffee cup for the waitress to see.
Sad eyes peaked out of her lashes as Daniel told her about his wife and brother-in-law. "It must have been hard on you, watching your wife change like that." Reaching across the table she squeezed his hand in sympathy, then took it back.
He explained his current situation. The grin wasn't lost on Wonder Woman. "Guess I'll have to get in line," she teased. "You could have anyone you wanted," she said her voice soft and soothing.
"Oh, I love pancakes. I didn't have them until I was here for awhile. The food is so different from Themyscira. The food back home was good, we ate a lot of seafood as we are next to an ocean," she said excitedly. "I miss my home. I do find that men can add a lot to any situation. I was taught to revere man."
"Yes," she admitted, I flew home to get it. You need help with your allergies, you must be miserable dealing with it. I thought I could help you," she offered.
"Yes, I know that you can use honey, we use it on the island," she said moving her cup so the waitress could fill Vi. While there, she topped off Daniel's cup.
"Was it what you thought it would be? Visiting an ancient Egyptian planet?"
