Having never been on a date, Diana's preconceptions were out the window. The only thing she could pull from were the movies she watched. In her head she knew counting on something like that wasn't real.
She couldn't believe she was having coffee with a man she didn't know. There was something different about this man that intriguing. Diana had hopes for this date. At least now she could say she'd been on one.
She flew to Grannies, careful not to hit the sphere that kept the boundary of Galador. She love flying, there was a certain freedom to it that nothing else in this world or any other had.
She touched down about a block from grannies. Here she combed out her hair, then shook it. She was humming as she walked the rest of the way to Grannies.
Walking in the door to Grannies, she scanned the room. There was a man by himself sitting in a booth drinking coffee between pastry bites.
"Daniel?" She asked. Which she didn't have to do. She tucked her hair behind her ear. It was weird to be in civilian clothes.
Sitting down across from him, the waitress appeared. "I'll have what he's having," she said with a smile.
