"If you think you are not greatly beautiful, then you must have different standards than I, milady." He nodded.
"And in truth, to me, as great as the beauty is the truth of the heart. You show kindness, strength, and warmth to all you meet."
He grinned at her. "I will be glad to show you, again, what goes beyond kisses. Thoroughly, and at great length." His eyes danced with warmth as he teased the words out.
And at her words, he nodded and his eyes flashed red.
Before each of them appeared a simple plate of chocolate cake, from which cherry and chocolate scents rose. It was an old chocolate recipe, with cherry in it, as well as a chocolate cream baked into the core of it.
"Enjoy, dear one, for I intend to make this a very cherry night."
