"Hey Mom," Nate called when Louise greeted them. He threw a hand up to wave at his father as well before he slipped out of his jacket and followed SoBo to a booth.
"Yeah, she's pretty great. Don't tell her I said so, though." He slipped out of his leather jacket and dropped down onto the vinyl bench seat.
"Any specific section that you think needs more work? Or just like...in general?" Somehow joining Sobo for one song had morphed into him contributing to several songs on her album. He wasn't complaining, though, they always had a blast together in the studio. It was even better when they followed it up with a stop at the restaurant for burgers and fries.
He could hear his mom mocking his dad and couldn't help but smirk. Never a dull moment with his family.
