Next year, lay off the fireworks and think of the people who served in combat. My man hasn't slept since New Years Eve, which means I haven't either so we're both grumpy AF. Do you know how hard it is to be a parent when you're so tired you can't see straight? Seriously, screw all of you. He's been doing good and you ruined it.

Yeah... I don't like to complain, but I have to admit they did a number on me, too. God bless Jessica for not being annoyed by how many times I clutched her in a panic.

I get it though. If you haven't been at war, and don't know anyone who has... it's got to be hard to process how something so little could affect us so badly.
