Who: Hayden and Mark What: Getting to know each other Where: Murder house When: November 27th Warning: None
When Mark got there this time, Hayden was sitting in the living room as two men argued in front of her. She looked like she was indeed over it and rubbing her head all the while looking like she wanted to murder them. She loved Chad and Patrick, really, but sometimes they were just a pain in her ass. "Thank God" She muttered when she saw Mark walk into the room. Getting up, she walked away from the two gays that didn't even notice the other man and took his hand, leading him towards the back door. "You don't need to be subjected to them" -- "Jesus Christ..." Mark laughed, smirking as he shook his head. "No wonder you get so stir crazy in this house..." He squeezed her hand, sweetly, and let her lead him. "I mean... I guess at least it never gets lonely here?" -- "It does" She replied glancing over to him as she let him outside. "Have you ever stood in a croweded room and felt completely alone? Imagine that but almost everyone in the crowd hates you for one reason or another" She pointed out as they got to the gazeebo and she stepped inside, taking a seat. "I don't have many allies in there" She told him as she looked back at the house. -- "In a much different way, I get that. The whole thing about misconceptions, anyway." Mark told her, looking away for a moment. "People think because I'm gonna be doing porn that I must be super confident, and have this amazing party life... they don't realize how insecure and moody I am. How sad I am." -- Sitting back, she looked away from the house she was trapped in as she listened to him. "I just thought you liked sex and didn't care about being filmed doing it" She told him with a shrug as she curled her feet up and turned towards him. "Gonna guess that's not it, is it?" -- "Don't get me wrong... it's a good gig. I mean, have you seen Lia Larson? Dear lord." He laughed, shaking his head. "But in a way, it's my way of forcing myself out of my comfort zone in a way that gives me the chance to pretend to be the guy I wish I was: the smooth dude who gets all the chicks." -- She felt a little twang of jealously go through her as he mentioned how hot Lia was but she didn't let it get ahead of her and ignored it. "Not into girls" Hayden replied with a shake of her head and a laugh of her own. "Makes sense. If it helps, if I had met you on my own? You would have definitely gotten me" She told him, reaching a hand out to walk fingers along his chest for a moment. -- He had to laugh for a moment. While she was definitely good at making him feel wanted... subtlety was not one of her stronger points. "Something you want, babe?" He asked simply, giving her a smirk. -- "Not while we're out here" She told him as she sat back. Her eyes went down to the floor of the gazeboo and she shifted uncomfortably, not even sure why she brought him it out here. "My body's buried under this thing" -- "Oh shit..." He blurted out, obviously a little freaked by that. "Y-Yeah... maybe we should go somewhere else? Like... anywhere else?" -- She nodded to that. "Yeah. Yeah we should. I don't even know why I came out here. I just had to get out of that house for a while" She told him as she moved to stand up, nodding for him to follow."C'mon. We'll head back in" She told him as she began talk. "Sorry" She added on with a glance over her shoulder at him. -- "Hey.... you got nothing to be sorry for, babe. I feel worse for YOU. That's... gotta be a horrible feeling." He said, moving forward a few steps to wrap his arms around her waist, pulling her back to his chest for a comforting hug. -- She stopped moving when he wrapped his arms around her and she allowed herself to be pulled into the hug. There was a soft smile on her face as she sunk into him and closed her eyes. She hadn't been hugged in a long time so this felt pretty amazing. -- "I wish you could leave here..." He sighed, kissing the back of her head. "I'd like to actually take you on a date sometime..." He chuckled, giving her a few minutes to feel his warmth and comfort. -- "You and me both" She replied, moving her hands to rest ontop of his. Resting her head back, she opened her eyes and looked up at him. "Where would you take me?" She wondered, wanting to play out what would never be in her head. -- "I'm kinda old-fashioned about that." He said, willing to humor her here, as his heart broke a little for her. "Dinner at a nice restaurant, a movie... maybe dancing afterward..." -- "I remember dates like that" She remarked fondly but also a little sadly because she wouldn't be able to have that kind of date again. She thought for a moment about the last time she had a date like that and it made it even sadder because it had been with Ben. Pushing the man out of her head, she turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck. "We could dance right now, you know" -- "We could..." He said, giving her a lopsided grin and swaying them back and forth a little, still holding her with her back to him. "Wasn't sure if you wanted to do that now though... since you'd made it pretty clear you wanted something else..." -- She smiled as they began dancing, not caring if there was no music. "People can change their minds, you know" She replied with a shrug of her shoulders. "I did at first, want something else. I wanted to feel what it was like to be with someone alive. It's so different than the cold bodies in there" She nodded her head to the house as she played with the hairs on the back of his neck as they swayed. "But then it wasn't just that one time and we started spending more time together ..." -- "I know what you mean." He admitted with a laugh. "Lia pretty much told me straight away that she had a hot friend who wanted to screw me... and don't get me wrong, I was fine with that... but whatever this is between us, it's definitely more than just physical." -- "You aren't married, are you?" She asked, narrowing her eyes at him a little bit. The way she said it told him there was a story there and that she felt like what they had was too good to be true, that there had to be a catch that would screw it all up beyond her being a ghost. -- "Wh-... no!" He blurted out with a loud laugh, blinking. "God no. Not married, not even seeing anyone. Not here or back home." He felt bad laughing, but hoped she could tell it wasn't her plight he found funny, but the way she so randomly asked him that. -- Reaching out, she hit him on the back of the head playfully for laughing as they continued to sway and dance with no music. "It's not funny" She narrowed her eyes at him for a second more then she relaxed and let out a sigh as she pulled herself closer to him, resting her head on his chest. "The last guy I was with wouldn't leave his wife for me" -- "If I was seeing anyone seriously.... I wouldn't be here." He said, firm in his beliefs. "I mean... my job is one thing, but I have too much respect for women in general to cheat on anyone." -- Pulling back a little bit, she lifted her head and looked at him as he talked. A bit of a smile appeared on her face as he did and she reached up, putting a hand on his cheek. "You are way too good for this world" -- "Don't know if I'd go that far..." He replied with a chuckle, smiling at her. He couldn't wrap his head around the fact that she might be anything OTHER than the sweet, loving person she was around him. "But I do know you're too good to be stuck in this house." -- Ugh that smile. It made her feel like a total school girl, a feeling she hadn't felt since Ben. That smile made her feel so alive every time she saw it. "You don't have to cause I already did" She replied with a shrug of her shoulders. "You gotta be the only one in this place that thinks I'm good" She told him, leaning up to kiss him. He had a great way of maknig her feel good about herself when she needed it.
