Riley kissed him back. She loved the feel of his lips on hers, her body in his arms. She could seriously stay this way forever. Her smile widened. She laughed. "I would have to get you one of those red and white sweaters and hat." She teased him.
She knew he had come over to discuss what he had just said because she had said it online, but at the moment she had forgotten that was why he was here. So when he said he loves her, out loud like that, she was surprised a moment, but then she felt all those feelings come back to her and remembered that he had said he wanted to talk in person for this reason.
She slid up a little, shifted so she faced him, crossed her legs under her so she could sit close to him still and while looking at his face she said, "I love you, too." She said it softly, a little shyly, but she meant it, and her whole face was proof of that. She put her hand on his lap, lost in his eyes.
He was right. It did feel better saying this to him then to a computer screen. She smiled dreamily.
