What: A special birthday present
Where: Ryze
When: Sunday night - 10/13

Chandler hadn't been in this world long, but she had already made a few friends. She had seen the young, gorgeous redhead post a few times, and she couldn't help but be drawn to her. It was partly because Bella was someone that Chandler had never heard of, and that was quite rare in a place such as this. She got ready that night and made her way to Ryze. She wasn't sure if Bella was going to show up, but she really hoped that the younger girl would be there. After getting herself a drink, she started scoping out the area. She quickly walked over to Bella and tapped on her shoulder with a huge grin on her face. "There's the birthday girl. I'm Chandler. Bella turned around, eyes going wide when she saw what Chandler was wearing. "Holy shit." She blurted out before she could stop herself. "Thank you for coming... I'm still kinda shocked you wanted to..."
Bella herself wore a beautiful, semi-sheer dress with black boots, fur once really TRYING to look pretty

Chandler nodded and leaned in, giving Bella a quick hug. "Of course, I wanted to come. I'm a college girl. I never turn down a party. Plus, I felt a little drawn to you," she shrugged with a smile.

"You did? Really?" Bella asked with a blink, giggling at the hug. "And ohmygod you smell SO nice..."

Chandler let out a small laugh. "Thanks, they have great fragrances here. Not to mention, great glitter body spray." She did a little twirl.

"This is kinda already the best birthday I've ever had," Bella said with a blush, tucking a stay strand of hair behind her ear. "Back home, we didn't have much, and I only had a couple of friends... and now I'm at a great club, hanging out with the most beautiful person I've ever seen."

"To be fair, there are a LOT of beautiful people around here," Chandler scrunched up her nose. "It's like everyone got cast out of a swimsuit catalog."

"Yeah, but you're super sweet AND hot." She grinned, before nervously nibbling her bottom lip. "Sorry. I'm seriously bad at this. My couple friends at home used to tease me all the time because of how bad I was at talking to anyone I liked. The couple dates I did have? Mostly came because people heard me playing drums or violin and liked how it sounded."

Chandler raised an eyebrow, "I mostly got attention from nerd boys because I actually spoke their language. The popular kids looked down on me."

"Their loss then," Bella said with a bright smile. "And my gain! Because I've gotten a new friend out of it!" She said, figuring right off the bat that she'd have no chance at more here. "Do you like rock music? If so, I'll play a drum solo for you sometime. You'll love it."

"Actually no," Chandler shook her head, "no loss at all. That's just something that you say when you secretly care what they think. I was happy with my life. My career was skyrocketing and paying for my tuition, and I was between boyfriends."

"You are kinda awesome," Bella said with adorable sincerity, that level of confidence something she herself could only dream of achieving. "Oh, and I'm still wondering what you were talking about the other day. About possibly embarrassing me." She smirked, crossing her arms. "I'm both terrified... and morbidly curious."

"I guess that depends," Chandler smirked, eyeing the room. "Is there anyone else here for you tonight?"

"Yes, actually!" Bella said happily, pointing a few people out. "Lita, Ellie, and Regina came out, which was SO nice of them."

Chandler looked over to the other girls, who seemed to have a few more ladies with them, and nodded. "Well, it's not like they feel put out, Bella. I don't, either."

"I really appreciate it though. None of you aside from Lita even know me that well, but you came out anyway to help me have a nice evening." Bella said, a shy smile coming over her as her eyes welled up ever so slightly with happy tears. "I can be an emotional person, you know? I think it's a side effect of my powers. But I'm really, really touched."

"And if you're lucky, someone may just be touching you by the end of the night," she winked and looked over to the other girls, giving them a nod. "Seriously though, just relax and enjoy yourself. I may not know you, but I know you deserve it."

"Wait what?" Bella laughed, eyes going wide. Was this girl coming on to her? No, there was no WAY she could be this lucky. "I am. Enjoying myself, I mean. Good music, better company..."

"I'm just the one that makes things happen," Chandler shrugged before slipping away. She walked over to the DJ booth and began talking to the DJ. After a few minutes, she walked over to the bar, getting a couple of drinks. Once she had the drinks, she went back over to the DJ booth and drank down her's before the DJ turned down the music and gave Chandler the microphone. "Hey everyone, how are you doing tonight?" She laughed as the crowd reacted. "Well, I won't keep you long. I just want to point out a very special patron in here tonight." She pointed to Bella and the DJ showed a light on her. "This here is Bella and today... is her birthday." She paused as the crowd cheered for Bella. "Now, Bella is alone here from her world and this has left a hole in her heart. I know that there a lot of others here in that position. So I want all of you to show this pretty little girl just how welcome she is here and build up her circle. Happy Birthday, baby girl." Chandler blew a kiss and after giving the microphone back, she disappeared again for most of the night.

For the rest of the evening, Bella happily danced with Lita, with Ellie, with Regina... hell, even with a few people she didn't even know who just came over because of what Chandler said. And she had a blast. The whole time though, she kept thinking back to the beautiful blonde, and how special she made her feel.
