Clint had arranged for the paintball group to meet in a clearing and couldn't help it but be amazed by the amount of people that were there. Once 12PM rolled around he cleared his throat and clapped his hands to get everyone's attention. Once the hubbub died down, he said: "First, thank you to our volunteer referees and medical staff for taking the time to join us today. We want this to be a safe and fair game but we understand that accidents happen sometimes, so it's important that they're here. Let's give them a round of applause." He clapped and once enough time had passed he asked the crowd for quiet.

"Spencer's Gastro-Pub and The Crashdown Cafe will be providing food and drink before, during and after the event. So please make sure to thank them for providing such wonderful food and drink." He clapped again. He made a mental note to make sure to talk to the owners later, to make sure that they understood that they'd be paid.

"Now, I'll try to make the rest of our conversation quick so you all can get something to eat before we start. First, we're separating into three teams. Each team will have a safety guard to protect their chest," he thumped his fist over his heart, "and goggles to protect the eyes. Headshots are strictly not permitted. We understand that accidents happen, but we also have to play fair and safe. Each team has a designated color of paintballs and vests, to prevent friendly fire. Team Black Widow will be Red, Team Iron Man will be yellow, and Team Hawkeye will be blue."

He then went on to explain the rules for the three rounds of play. The first round was elimination, in which each team would try to eliminate all of the players from the opposing teams in order to gain a point and win. The second was 'capture the flag', in which each team would have to try to capture one opponents flag and bring it back to base, in order to gain a point and win. If you're tagged by an opposing team, you're to sit and wait until you're 'tagged in' by one of your teammates at which point you're able to re-enter play. This game will be significantly harder as each team can recapture their own flag and take it back to base.

The final round would be a free-for-all. You can hit your own teammates if you really want to but working together is key. The person with the least amount of paint on their protective vest will be considered the winner for the round and will gain a point for their team.

Each player is expected to wipe off paint from their vests between rounds and there'll be a thirty minute interval between each round to allow for bathroom and food breaks. It's at this point that he claps his hands together for a break so that everyone can get situated. "Oh! And maps will be provided for everyone! Flags are set up around the boundary of the course so we don't go outside of our designated zones."
