Audrey thought that the date had gotten off to a great start. At least that was the feeling she was getting so far. She didn’t know him well and while she wanted to ask him, she felt shy in doing so. “I think so too. I’d hate it if you didn’t agree with me.” She laughed as they walked and soon found where the drinks and other foods were.
“I meant to say this place but I guess I got a little tongue tied. I tend to get that way around boys. Especially really cute ones.” She admitted and turned as pink as her hair.
She could tell that he didn’t want to talk about his home, and she totally understood. “I understand. When you’re ready to, I’ll listen.” She said, her expression showing warmth and empathy. “Not anymore. I got saved by the father of a friend of mine and while he shouldn’t have done it, I’m glad he did. If he didn’t I wouldn’t be here with you.”
