It always amused him to no end when the Pirate Princess slipped up in her manner of speech. She was normally so proper, but get her the right dose of mad and she sounded like a true pirate. Harry didn't care which way she spoke, what with her being his and all, but he still found amusement in her anger. He drummed his fingers against her side as he continued to toy with her hair with his other hand. He brought some strands to his lips as he tried not to laugh.
"Now, now, don't get me wrong. I love it when ye get all murdery, but I doubt she is actually going to do anything. She is a confused child who nay know her place," he reassured Evie. "She is like a wee peacock. Showing off cause dats all she got right now. The others can deal with her."
He pursed his lips for a moment before shifting enough to rub the tip of his nose against her cheek. The humming sound left him again as he found himself wondering where their second mate was. Gil was probably off having to deal with his git of a brother. It still rankled him that Gil was there and not under the rough of the Pirate King. Now that was a laugh. Who'd a thought there was a right king of pirates? Elizabeth was surprisingly not bad and his father would have certainly hated her. More reason to like the wench.
"So now that ye are calmer," he drawled out. "Wut do ye think of my malediction?"
