Castiel had so many things to look into, he wasn't certain he knew where to start. There was the matter of realities seemingly colliding, but then there was also the matter of the people themselves. They needed to be protected in as many ways as possible, regardless of what the natives believed. As for Cosima herself, he'd not been aware she was a woman of science upon engaging her, but now that he was aware of it, he knew he would likely be returning to her. For assistance, but perhaps even for company. While Cas didn't understand the need for it, he still had few allies in this place.
"In which case, I hope you are reunited with her in some form," he said sincerely. "I...understand that the displacement here is inconvenient, but the offer of assistance is mutual. If there is anything else I can help with, you are always welcome to contact me."
Now that he could hear prayers once again, he saw less of a reason to use his phone, yet at the same time, he still held onto it in hopes of seeing any signs of Sam or Dean. No matter how unlikely Sam's presence was, although timelines in and of themselves could make it possible. Or so Castiel supposed.
