With everything that's happened the last couple months I completely blanked on the fact that my birthday is in two weeks. Back home I'd have to be deciding whether I wanted to keep my powers or not. Here I don't even know if I'll have to make that choice.

Status update on Rocket:

Mama's been staying with him at the hospital pretty much since she arrived. He's gonna be ok, hopefully soon. Losing her even briefly really did a number on him mentally and emotionally, but once he sees she's not going anywhere again, he should be good to go.

Normally I'd say he'd appreciate visitors or calls, but let's be honest: this is my dad. He pretty much hates everyone.

OMG. I'm gonna be rich. I just had the most amazing idea.

I was eating a chicken pot pie for lunch, and it hit me: what if you made one of these, but instead of chicken, you filled it with something like apples, or cherries, or other fruits?

I have to get to work on this.

Having another one of those mopey nights. I've been playing with Remy and trying not to think about the bad stuff, but sometimes it just sneaks on in there anyway. Ugh.

Wow what a rush that was! I have missed the stage so much, you would not believe it. I took a risk with a song I wrote myself, but I was literally shaking with nerves when I got my critique from Rachelle! I’m a puzzle that’s for sure, but I hope you all enjoyed my performance and vote for me so I can show you that there is more to me than meets the eye! This is the most fun I’ve had in a long time.
