Liz never thought she'd ever be celebrating her birthday in space but here she was, turning nineteen in space. It was rather fitting if you thought about it. Her life really began because of someone from space. Since then, her whole life has revolved around that someone and no they were living their lives in space. It was all meant to be, it seemed.
She smiled when Max said he was proud of her and she shrugged her shoulders modestly. "It's easier to adapt to unfamiliar situations than to dwell on them and long for the list you used to have. Our lives are in space now and I don't know about you, but I think that's pretty exciting. Why wouldn't I embrace all of this right?"
With a smile, she leaned over and gave him a kiss. Thank you for a great birthday so far"
