"Well, I hope that you both consider us here family eventually as well," he replied, having heard enough. His way of saying that they had the job if they wanted it. It was one thing to hire people who could do the job, but Eric had learned from Ginger that the best workers were the ones that didn't even consider it work, and enjoyed being there.
"Of course, I'd still have to hear you sing, Maria," he pointed out with a lazy smile, not letting her off of the hook there. If she was anywhere near as good as Santana though... well, that might be a problem. That girl seemed competitive. "Right now I do have a singer on staff, but... if you're as good as I think you are, then I hope that you'd both be willing to alternate between singing and hostess duties." He did have Dawn as a hostess already, but he had plans for her.
