William set them off at an amble as they spoke, leaving his paddle board behind, content in the knowledge that no one would steal it. He hadn't met a person on Galador that he didn't trust - although William was the first to admit that he was a trusting person.
He listened as Daenerys spoke of her husband, smiling warmly. "Your Khal sounds like he was a strong person." William was strong too, physically, yet: "I'm not much for fighting myself. Oh, I'll defend what's mine if it comes to it but if I could find a peaceable way to end a conflict then... I'd prefer to do that," he admitted with a blush.
He couldn't help it but raise his eyebrows at the mention of dragons. The reality gem didn't discriminate, did it? "No dragons of my own," he rumbled with a warm smile. "But it's funny that you should mention children. My partner and I were just talking about having children yesterday. I think Edie would make for a wonderful mother." They'd connected instantly in the day that they'd met and he couldn't imagine a day without her.
"She's..." William paused briefly, collecting his thoughts. "Indescribable." You could hear his love for her in his voice. "If I could spend the rest of my life with her then I'd consider myself a lucky man."
