He flushed just a little but remained composed so she wouldn't know he was lying; the bus had run over his foot. "I'm OK." He said, honestly this time.
"It's nice to meet you as well, Jean Grey." He frowned, because he knew that name.
He snapped, realizing from where he knew her. His eyes widened like a kid in a candy store realizing a person from his old comics was standing in front of him right now. Could it really be her or a coincidence? He wished he had other powers right now to be able to see truth. Healing and illusions didn't help in this moment.
"Are you really The Jean Grey?" He asked, surprised because literally he and Kelly had been talking about Xavier School and now Jean Grey was in front of him. It couldn't be coincidence. Maybe this was his chance to get into her school somehow and figure out his powers finally.
"My friend and I were actually just discussing your school a few days back. I was considering finding a way to attend." He admitted, not one to beat around the bushes.
