"I really wish that you'd stop punching people in the face," Morgan grumbled. She was sitting beside Rachelle on the sofa in Rachelle's office at The End Zone. She gingerly held a bag of peas over Rachelle's knuckles to soothe any swelling that might have occurred. "I happen to love this hand, y'know."
"Morgan." Rachelle looked at the blonde with pleading eyes, as if hoping SOMEONE would understand her weird-ass logic. "Do YOU want to be known as someone who came from 'the world that gave us Limp Bizkit'? Cos I sure as fuck don't. I had to defend Earth's honor!"
"You could have used your words, 'Chelle," Morgan replied. Her tone was stern but there was no hiding the curve of her lips. She was amused, despite her concern. She removed the bag of peas and kissed Rachelle's knuckles. "Have I taught you nothing?"
"....you taught me that little thing you do with your tongue that drives Neely crazy..." Chelle mumbled, blinking at Morgan with hilariously puppydog-like eyes. "Besides. This is ME. My words would've done more damage than my fist."
That actually made Morgan laugh. "You mangled his face." Okay, so Rachelle had a point. Morgan gave Rachelle a quick, tender kiss on the lips. "You're lucky that I love you so much."
"He's a shapeshifter. He'll be fine." Rachelle replied, kinda missing the point. Still, she smiled happily at that kiss. "I really am. Having you and Neely... I'm the luckiest woman alive."
"Damn right you are." Morgan shifted around on the sofa so she could rest her head on Rachelle's shoulder. She was in something of a cuddly mood, despite her grumblings. "So, maybe choose your fights carefully? I'd hate for something to happen to you."
"Well hell. I can't even make fun of that." Rachelle answered, sighing happily and resting her head against Morgan's. "I love you so much, baby. I don't even know how the hell I'd function with you and Neely."
Morgan smiled contently. "It doesn't matter where we are as long as we're together. I'm sure if Neely was here she'd say the same thing."
Rachelle nodded, eyes misting up a little. It was a truly sweet, tender moment.
So of course she'd ruin it.
"She would. It'd just be muffled, cos her face would probably be in my ass."
Morgan snorted. "Or your boobs," she agreed. "You know how she likes to motorboat those things." Rachelle brought the best out of everyone, didn't she?
"I seem to recall you being quite the fan of that as well..." Chelle mused, smirking as one slender eyebrow slowly went up. "Everyone loves The Girls." She pulled Morgan a little closer, just wanting to snuggle up and feel her warmth.
Morgan hooked an arm around Rachelle's waist. Morgan could come across as distant sometimes, but she truly did adore cuddles. "Well, if we're ever in a shipwreck you don't have to worry about drowning." They always joked that Rachelle had built in floatation devices. "How are you? I mean really."
"Little freaked over my mom being here. Missing the singing/acting thing a bit." Chelle said, wrapping one leg around the woman in an attempt to be even closer to her. "Mostly I'm good though. I have both of you, Aubrey's here, even Munchkin's around to make me smile. I'm... always gonna be a little busted up here." She said, tapping the side of her head for emphasis. "But at least I'm not self-destructive anymore."
"You know we'll take you however we can have you," Morgan murmured. Morgan ran a hand up and down Rachelle's thigh. She had such a wonderful body. It was hard not to worship it in some way. "We can always have your mom over sometime," she suggested, then added: "And if you really wanted we can look into singing and acting again. The acting might be a little harder, but it's not impossible."
"I know that since Ben and Skylar got here, they've been talking about starting the label back up. I'm pretty sure he'd give me a shot again." Rachelle said, tapping her chin in thought. "Mostly cos Skylar fuckin' loves me, and Ben likes looking at my tits."
"I swear one day I'm gonna use magic to blind that man," Morgan grumbled. One could only hope that she meant temporarily. "You know, you could always play gigs locally. You don't need to wait for them to set up the label."
"You think people would come see me?" Chelle asked, one of her unspoken fears finally coming out. "I mean... I'm not exactly the best singer. Back home people gravitated to me because I was a glorious train wreck."
"I think people will see you," Morgan murmured, starting to lightly play with Rachelle's hair. "You're a force when you're on stage, babe. You have no idea."
"Ironic, isn't it? Losing Neely was what made me that force. Yet, thanks to you, I ended up getting her back." She paused, correcting herself with a smile. "We got her back."
"We did." Morgan smiled softly. Morgan could have her brooding moments sometimes, but it was through her relationship with Rachelle and Neely that she'd grown as a person. She'd learned to emote, to appreciate the quiet moments (there weren't many in their house!) and took affection when she could get it. "And I'm so glad for that."
"I lovingly give Aubrey a lotta shit, but damn...." Rachelle chuckled in disbelief. "She knew. Somehow... she just knew that you were meant to be with us. I know I'm always gonna be a little fractured up here..." She said, tapping the side of her head, "But since I got you BOTH in my life? I've felt a hell of a lot less broken."
"I promise that whatever life throws at us, we'll always be by your side." Frankly she and Neely were both wrecks for the week they'd been separated from Rachelle. She clung just a little tighter.
