Slowly Jessica looked up into her own face, well, years younger, but still her, and Liz's face. She had not seen Liz's name on the list of residences when she had arrived so she could only assume that Liz had gotten here after her. Unless somehow she had missed her twins name. But no, she had went straight to the W's and scanned it twice for Liz or Todd's names. Then she looked for her parents and Steven, and finally went to the P's and F's and even looked for Bruce, then Lila last. But no luck. No one else from Sweet Valley had been here when she arrived.
Sunnyvale was a lot like Sweet Valley which is why she had chosen it. She took Jake's hand and held him close to her. Even though this woman looked like Liz, how could she be sure this wasn't an alien of some sorts sent to look like the twins. hey had thought they had a triplet a few times in the past when they were younger.
She nodded, stood, and carefully held Jake with her as she stood, not comfortable letting him go yet. "I am alright." She said, warily.
"Lizzie. It's you. But you're not me. I mean you're not, you're younger." She rambled, losing her cool for the first time in a long time. Jessica Wakefield did not lose her cool often.
She looked down at Jake, in her arms. "Jake, this is your Aunt Liz." She said, and then she pulled her head away from her son and spoke quietly to Liz. "I don't want to confuse him, but it doesn't seem as if you really are his Aunt Liz, not technically. I mean, you're you at 18, or so. You look like us in college. I didn't have a child at 18." She frowned. She and Todd had not even slept together yet at 18. So what was going on?
