It was her second day in Sunnydale and Elizabeth left her apartment bright and early to continue her search for Jessica. Call it twin intuition, but she felt in her gut that her twin was here too, somewhere. They'd been in the womb together, so there was no way Elizabeth was anywhere without Jessica and vice versa. Despite their different personalities and social circles, they always stayed by each other's side.
She didn't think much of the pretty blond woman running in the direction opposite hers. Sunnydale was like Sweet Valley; blonds seemed to be everywhere. That's why this search was going to be difficult. But she paused when she heard the little boy at the woman's side say "Auntie Liz," and in turn saw the woman drop to her knees. As Elizabeth drew closer to this woman, her intuition pinged like mad. It was Jessica! But at the same time, not her Jessica. She looked much older, at least a decade older... and she had a kid! That alone threw Liz for a loop. Jessica was a mom on this new planet? Jessica the party girl?
"Are you okay?" Elizabeth caught up with her older twin and got down on the ground to her level.
"I know this is going to sound weird," she said. "But I think you're my twin sister. Jess, it's me, Lizzie," she added, using their nicknames for each other.
