Who: Tea and Jo
What: Bestie time
Where: The End Zone
When: Last night
Warning: Mention of death
Tea was, in a word, pissed off. The last thing she expected to see that night when she was getting ready to meet with Jo later was that voice post from Emily that was clearly about Bea. That sent the vampire down a destructive path that started with her storming out of the palace when she was done getting ready. Needing someone to take her anger out on, she made her way into the city and hid in and ally, waiting until some unsuspecting fool wondered by.
As soon as she saw someone alone, she pulled them into the alley and went to town, draining the body then dumping it into a dumpster. Wiping her mouth, she boarded the speed trained and headed to Freedomtown. Yes, she was without her driver and without her bodyguard that night because she just wasn't thinking clearly. She just had to get away from the palace. When she made it to The End Zone, she saw Jo was still with her friend so she hung back and requested one of her special drinks as she waited for her bestie to be alone.
Once she noticed Tea there, Jo finished the drink she had (she'd stopped counting over an hour ago), then leaned in to give Arizona a big hug. She was drunk, there was no doubt... but she knew she'd be safe with Tea. She walked over to the vampire, adorably shit-faced grin plastered on her face, her killer figure practically poured into a short black and red dress. "Well hey there, pretty lady... come here often?"
Tea couldn't help but look the girl over when she walked over and she took a sip of her literal bloody Mary as she watched her. "So cheesy" She commented with an amused shake of her head and a smile on her face as she set the drink down in front of her. She wasn't surprised to see Jo was already plastered given what she'd found out earlier in the day. Tea was happy to be there for her and happy that Jo was going to be there for her too because, like her, she probably shouldn't be alone either. "I've had a shit night too" She admitted as she sat back.
"What happened, sweetie?" Jo asked, smooching the vampire on the cheek. It was then that she noted the smell of blood, and blinked. She said nothing though, it wasn't her business.
Not wanting to actually say it, she pulled out her phone and went on the network. When she got to Emily's post, she handed the phone over to Jo so she could hear what she was talking about. "That's Bea's ex" She explained as she was listening.
"Oh damn..." Jo replied with a low whistle, shaking her head. "This singing stuff suuuuuucks..." She giggle-snorted then, covering her mouth. "You realize this girl is probably terrified you're gonna kill her now...."
It was hard to be serious about drunk Jo and Tea couldn't help but smile at her giggling as she reached for her phone. The smile was only there for a moment, though. "The thought did cross my mind but I decided to kill someone else instead" She replied with a shrug.
Just figuring Tea was kidding (and too drunk to really process it anyway), Jo still managed to bring a hint of logic to the conversation. "Ya do realize that she couldn't help that, right? Nobody can right now.... and face it: you and Bea are totally great and easy to fall for..."
"I don't care" Tea said very plainly as she reached for her drink and took a sip of it. "Bea is mine and I'll be damed if anyone else loves her but me" She was fine if she didn't know about but since Emily was very open about it, she was not fine with it at all.
"You're.... really hot when you're all possessive." Jo laughed, hiccuping as she did. "C'mon... a blind person could see the way Bea looks at you. You got nuuuuuuthin' to... to worry about."
"And you're adorable when you're drunk" She commented as she set her drink back down, wiping her mouth with her hand then she held it out. "Can I have my phone back?" She asked as she listened to her. "Doesn't mean I'm not pissed about the whole thing"
Jo handed her the phone, nibbling on her bottom lip as a thought came to her. The weird part was, typically? Jo wasn't even bi. She was totally straight. Always had been. But around Tea? That always went right out the window. "Ya know... if you're that angry, you could always take some of it out on meeeee..."
A mischievous smile curled on her lips as she heard that and she pulled out some money, putting it on the table. "We're going to your place. I don't want to go back to the palace right now" She told Jo before she looked over to Rachelle and yelled at her across the room. "This is for my drink and all of hers" She told her, pointing to the money before she grabbed the girl's hand and walked out with her.
"Ooooo.... you're my sugar momma now?" Jo asked with another loud giggle, throwing her head back as she laughed. It was adorable in a way... but also sad, because she was obviously drunk to hide her pain.
