Jordan held his son in his arms, smelling the baby smell even more. The adrenaline that had been coursing through him for what seemed like ages was finally slowing down. He had no clue where he really was, but he had Carolyn and the babies by his side, and for now that was enough.
"Probably because I spent so much time asking everyone questions in that Welcome Center place," Jordan said. "Were you there too?"
A waiter came by and Jordan ordered a chocolate shake and a Coke. When the waiter left, he had more questions for Carolyn.
"Do you have somewhere we can go? A house or something? And shops, we need baby stuff and food."
