"I think she reached out to me because of a meeting I had with Meg at the library," Lissa said honestly. "I was there that day since I have been spending quiet time there when I first saw her. My... abilities ... said she needed space so I made sure no one approached her or got too close to her. Then I let her know if she needed anything I would be there. Later, I made it known to others that anyone that wanted to approach her would have to go through me and people rarely want to do that."
She smiled. "And you're right. I'm not human. I'm called a Moroi. I'm the Queen of my people back home. Moroi is one of two terms for vampire where I come from. Moroi are the ones that do not want to harm anyone, Strigoi are the ones who only want to kill and destroy and turn on even each other. They have no loyalty to anyone but what they can take or what they can destroy."
Lissa sat back, making sure she didn't look away as she wanted him to be able to see that she was being completely honest. "All Moroi have certain powers, but not all of us have the same powers. My specialty is the rarest of them all among my people. In fact, there are only four of us currently known. To put it clearly, Mr. Wolfgard, I am a healer. I can use my own body and strength to heal any wound or illness. I have even been seen to bring someone back from being close to death."
