Where: Locksley Manor
What: Checking up on one of her kids

Celebrating Winter Solstice had always been Regina’s favorite time of year. When she was young it meant Cora was away and time spent with her father doing whatever they pleased. Like eating far too many sweets and staying up way past her bedtime. During her reign as Queen she grew to dislike the Solstice and instead remained locked in her room. Usually plotting the demise of one Snow White. But by the time that Henry came into her life she had rediscovered the joy of her childhood. In Storybrooke, like the rest of the World Without Magic, they celebrated Christmas instead of the Solstice. But that didn’t stop her from including some of her favorite childhood traditions in their celebrations. Traditions that she made sure were a part of their celebrating on Galador as well. But now the holiday season was over and it was time for a new year to begin. One that she all ready knew was going to be an amazingly fulfilling year. Though the kids were all still in the dark - and would be for a few more weeks - their little family would be growing by two by the time summer came to an end. And despite all the helping hands around the house Regina knew that with two newborns there would be fewer and fewer opportunities for her to do things with all of them. Which is why she intended to seek out a child or grandchild each day and spend one-on-one time with them. She intended to make sure that they all knew just how much they were loved. “Ben, dear, are you in there?” Regina said knocking on his bedroom door. |
