Peeta smiled to himself with her remarks about taking the food easily. He was certain it was one of Regina's personal missions to get the pair of them eating normally again. She'd kept a close watch on both of them at mealtimes to make certain they were both doing okay. It was nice, to have a maternal figure in his life who genuinely cared about his wellbeing.
A waitress approached the booth and gave the pair of them menus to look over. Peeta glanced down at the bevy of choices, uncertain where to start.
"So long has you don't have any secret hunting plans for us. You remember how well that went last time you tried to hunt with me along." He gave her a wry, self-deprecating smile.
